About existentialism. Last year, I received a photo of a pattern on the ceiling of an ancient French wine cellar and it reminded me of a planet. It got me thinking about the universe and how small we are in it. When I looked at the moon from the backseat of the car when I was little, I used to think the moon is following me (didn't everyone?). Even then, it made me wonder: why me, why here, how did I win this lottery of life? This pattern is a hommage to life, the solar system, and the existential feeling that the sky and the stars can create. The absurdity and beauty of it all.
