About nature and light. Before moving to Berlin, I lived in Paris for 10 years. During this time, I really missed the Mediterranean coast and nature. I was happy to move to Berlin and have two parks close-by - I cycle through them every day. Most parks in the city don't have lights; it can get completely dark and it makes you forget you're in the middle of a capital city. On a cloudy night, the city lights reflect in the fog surrounding the trees, giving the forest a fantomatique feeling. It's as if the trees are dancing in the dark with specs of golden light. It's surreal. I took a photo of this one evening. I adjusted the shapes and reworked the contrasts and colours to make it look as close to how I myself see them as possible. The variations from the khaki to the blue versions of this design are recreations from the night of the photo.
