I was hopelessly romantic and wanted to explore life, so that movie just spoke to my heart. It's about how others can affect your personal universe and how nothing ever goes entirely your way but sometimes things can just be simple. I rewatched it several times after that, and I still find it captivating to this day. The slow pace, the music, the symbolism, the poetry within it. The image of cream running down the pie always stayed with me, so I had to make a blueberry pie pattern.
