About colours and emotions. For a long time, I believed my favourite colour was blue. However, more and more, green has become a soothing shade for me - a colour I am more comfortable with; a colour that allowed me to experiment and try to find the brightest emerald shape I could create out of a very pixelated photo I developed last summer. The subtle ribcages here are arranged so that they resemble heart shapes. I removed some details and drew them all separately so they are all different, yet the same - like us. The mortal beings sticking together as one throughout life. The idea behind this pattern first emerged during lockdown, when we all formed chains of love to stay together through the new reality that was upon us and dealing with those emotions. Throughout the length of the scarf, the gradient shade expresses different vibes. You can shuffle it around depending on your mood. What mood are you in today?
